Solid wood composite floor installation mode

1, direct laying type A: cement layer + floor special glue + floor, suitable for floor thickness of more than 19mm cement layer around the ground and the lower layer has sufficient drainage system and water intrusion barrier, to ensure that its moisture < 14% site installation. (This method of floor special adhesive coating method can be used in both of the adhesive installation instructions)



Straight B: cement layer + moisture-proof film + floor (This method must be applied to the mortise and groove of the floor waterproof floor special glue)



2, pad type: cement layer floor + moisture-proof film + wood layer + floor.



3, suspension plate type: cement layer floor + moisture-proof film + special keel + wood layer + floor.



(Special keel requirements: moisture content less than 13%, width less than 400mm, spacing less than 350mm fixed firmly, can not be fixed with cement mortar, the height is determined by the customer)



Solid wood composite floor installation steps



1. One side of the floor groove faces the wall, and a gap of about 10mm is reserved with the wooden deed.



2, apply 20~30cm floor special glue (polyurethane glue) in the width direction.



3. Press the floor directly on the glue (covering more than 90% of the area) and check whether it has been coated in place.

4, the second, the third point installation method can not be glued, only in the mortise joint with special waterproof glue or nail fixed (do not use white latex). Type B can only be fixed with special waterproof glue at the joint of the mortise and groove on the floor, and cannot be nailed.



5, refer to the first line of floor benchmark, the second line of installation, under normal circumstances, the Robin floor can be matched by hand, and in individual cases, the hammer (preferably a rubber hammer) is used to tap the pad plate to fully match the floor seam.



6. Use two floors to calculate the width of the last two lines of floor (including the reserved gap when using the wooden deed).



7. When installing the last two floors, hook one end of the Z-rod into the edge of the floor, and tap the other end with a hammer to make the joint fully match.



Solid wood composite floor installation precautions



1, please carefully check all materials before installation



Wood is a natural product, there are different changes in color, tone, texture, and some color changes are normal in natural wood flooring, although Robin flooring goes through many tests before leaving the factory, the final inspection before installation is the responsibility of the customer and the installer.



2. Install tools



Broom or vacuum cleaner, chalk, woodworking scriber, hand saw, power saw, hygrometer, goggles, ruler, tape measure, scraper, blade, crowbar, hammer, nail, pneumatic gun or air compressor, special floor glue, alcohol and other solvents, rags.

3. Installation site conditions



(1) The environmental structure is determined by the installer/customer whether it is suitable for the installation of solid wood composite flooring.



(2) All external work such as sinks, water pipes, cement products, including marble laying, bricklaying, etc. should be completed before installation.



(3) The foundation of the installation site has at least 5% slope or there is sufficient drainage system and water barrier around it.



(4) Temperature 20~30℃, relative humidity 40~60% for the appropriate environmental conditions.



(5) Do not install in the bathroom, the humidity is too high.



4, cement floor requirements



(1) Intact, firm, smooth and clean.



a. No peeling phenomenon, pits, non-polished surface (for reference detection method is: scrape the cement floor with coins or keys

Face without powder is intact.) .



b. No paint, grease, glue, wax oil, curly compounds and other dirt, foreign matter, to prevent bonding delamination.



c. Flatness up to 1 square meter drop ≤2mm.



(2) Must be dry, the relative humidity is recommended < 14%.



(3) The new cement floor must be dried for 60 days before paving, and then tested and used. (The most common test method is: 100mm x 100mm area of 6mm thick polyethylene film covered on the cement floor with tape edge sealing 24 hours after observation of water vapor under the polyethylene film, the cement floor is too wet)



(4) If in the depression or high humidity, a layer of moisture-proof film is generally placed on the cement floor, the joint overlaps 50~100mm, the film is 100mm higher than the bottom of the wall, and the moisture-proof film becomes a whole



5. Prepare the wood layer under the floor



(1) The thickness of 8~18mm thick plywood is more suitable for the board layer, and it is sawed into 600mm x 1200mm specifications before fixing, and particleboard is not suitable.



(2) The plywood must be checked for integrity and flatness, humidity < 14%, and the humidity change between the installed materials < 4~6%.



(3) The board layer should be fixed on the cement layer with special glue or expansion screws and nails, and it is anti-sinking. The flatness ensures that the height error of each point is < 0.2%.



(4) The surface is also clean: no paint, grease, glue, wax, stolen goods, etc.



6. Adhesive installation instructions



There are two ways to do this:



a. Wet bonding method is to place the floor directly on the wet glue.



b. The dry glue method is to apply glue to the floor.



Note: Be sure to follow the glue supplier's commercial glue instructions, and use special floor glue, all methods of coating coverage > 90%.



Solid wood composite floor installation additional instructions



1, wood is a natural product, slight changes in color, tone, texture is normal, beautiful solid wood composite floor is a natural product, there are defects, although the floor production is strictly in accordance with the standard, but the industry characteristics generally allow 5% error. Therefore, the installer has to calculate a 5% floor margin in order to generate material and production or natural defects loss when cutting.



Note: Manufacturers/distributors/retailers are not responsible for any visible defects after installation.



2. The installer shall make sure that the cement layer floor and the wood layer shall comply with the provisions of this specification before installation. Robin Floor refuses to bear the damage caused by the cement layer floor, the wood layer or the poor environment of the work site.



3, improper use of electric, manual nail machine will leave traces on the floor, please pay attention to the installer.



4, when the direct paving type A installation, because the rubber layer has not been cured, do not stand and walk on the floor within 48 hours.
