Process flow description:
Grass level inspection → → → Grass level cleaning → → → Wooden floor sorting → → → Pave moisture-proof film → → → Pave wooden floor → → Install wooden skirting line → → → Install aluminum alloy edge strip (if the whole house is paved, this item is not included) → → → → Pre acceptance → → → Protection → → → → → Acceptance
In home decoration, the construction and installation (paving) process of wooden floor paving varies depending on the material of the wooden floor, which can be said to be very different. Here, we mainly introduce the two common construction and installation (paving) processes of profile wood flooring:
1. Adhesive (wood flooring) paving method (applicable to stone plastic flooring, composite wood flooring, etc.):
a. Grassroots testing:
A-1. If the original ground (in this area) is paved with floor tiles and needs to be replaced with Wooden Flooring, but if the floor tiles are removed due to height issues, the ground leveling treatment and leveling process need to be carried out
Refer to Chapter 5 "Explanation of Mud and Water Engineering Mud and Water Leveling and Restoration Process Flow (with Notes and Acceptance Standards)"
A-2. If the original ground (in this area) is paved with floor tiles and needs to be replaced with a wooden floor, and there is no problem with the height of the ground, the standard error of the overall flatness of the tile ground can be tested within 3mm, and paving can be carried out; On the contrary, if the standard error of the overall flatness of the tile floor exceeds 3mm, self-leveling treatment is required before paving can be carried out.
b. Grassroots cleaning: Clean up dust, keep clean and tidy, and reduce dust.
c. Wooden floor sorting: Determine the laying direction of the wooden floor according to the construction drawings for sorting, reduce losses, and maintain a minimum of one-third of the wooden floor in principle.
d. Paving moisture-proof film: Use a dedicated moisture-proof film pad, which cannot be folded and covers the ground with a cross of 5mm.
e. Paving wooden flooring: According to the layout order and alignment of the patterns, wooden flooring can be directly laid.
To the ground, it is required that each wooden floor is tightly clamped, with no gaps in the middle, and a 0.5mm gap can be left around the wall.
f. Install wooden skirting line: tightly adhere to the wall and wooden floor
2. Overhead (wooden floor) paving method (applicable to solid wood flooring or special needs wood flooring):
A-2. If the original ground (in this area) is paved with floor tiles and needs to be replaced with a wooden floor, and there is no problem with the height of the ground, the standard error of the overall flatness of the tile ground can be tested within 3mm, and paving can be carried out; On the contrary, if the standard error of the overall flatness of the tile floor exceeds 3mm, self-leveling treatment is required before paving can be carried out.
b. Grassroots cleaning: Clean up dust, keep clean and tidy, and reduce dust
c. Snap line: Determine the position and spacing of the wooden keel, as well as the position of the embedded parts
d. Drilling installation of embedded parts: The embedded parts are bolts and lead wires, with a spacing of 800mm, and are drilled from the ground.
e. Ground moisture-proof and waterproof treatment: Use a dedicated moisture-proof membrane pad, which cannot be folded and covers the ground with a cross of 5mm.
f. Installation of wooden keel (or wooden joist): The installation spacing is generally 400mm, and some lightweight materials can be filled in the middle to reduce the empty drum sound when people walk and improve the insulation effect.
g. Snapped and nailed rough flooring: can be installed with base panels (large core panels are generally 5mm thick)
h. Paving wooden flooring: According to the layout order and alignment with the pattern, the wooden flooring can be directly laid to the ground. It is required that each wooden floor is tightly clamped, with no gaps in the middle, and can be left against the wall all around
A 0.5mm gap or at the junction of a wooden floor and a wall should be covered with a baseboard. To dissipate moisture, holes can be opened on the baseboard for ventilation.
i. Install wooden skirting line: tightly adhere to the wall and wooden floor.
Note:
1. After all wooden floors are transported to the construction and installation site, they should be unpacked and stored indoors for at least a week, so that they can be used only after being adapted to the temperature and humidity of the living room.
2. Before installation, wooden flooring should be selected and unqualified products with obvious quality defects should be removed. Products with consistent colors and patterns should be placed in the same room. For those with slight quality defects that do not affect use, they can be placed at the bottom of furniture such as beds and cabinets. The thickness of the boards in the same room must be consistent. When purchasing, a 10% increase in the actual paving area should be used to reduce losses. All items should be purchased in one go
3. The keel of the paved wooden floor should be made of non deformable tree species such as pine and fir, and the back of the wooden keel and skirting board should be treated with anti-corrosion treatment.
4. The construction of solid wood flooring should be avoided under heavy rain, overcast rain, and other climatic conditions. It is best to maintain stable indoor temperature and humidity during construction.
5. The wooden flooring in the same room should be laid in one go, so sufficient auxiliary materials should be prepared,
And timely protection of finished products should be done to strictly prevent oil stains, juice, and other surface contamination during installation. The glue should be wiped off in a timely manner
6. The wooden floor adhesive paving should ensure that the cement mortar ground does not sand or crack, and the base layer must be cleaned.
7. The uneven base layer should be leveled with cement mortar before laying and pasting the wooden floor. The moisture content of the base layer shall not exceed 15%.
Acceptance criteria:
1. There should be no gaps in the middle of the wooden floor, and a feeler gauge can be used for detection.
2. There should be no exposed dust around the wooden floor and it can be visually inspected.
3. The wooden floor should not be loose during installation and can be visually inspected.
4. The installation of Wood Floor patterns must be aligned and visually detectable.
5. After the installation of the wooden floor is completed, the finished product should be protected in a timely manner, without scratches, and can be visually inspected.
6. The solid wooden keel for overhead laying must undergo anti-corrosion treatment on the back, which can be visually inspected.
